Reunions and Weddings

Soon will be the time to think about next year’s vacation, family reunion or wedding. If you are interested in holding a family reunion or need a place to house wedding guests, consider us. You can book and entire Inn (or two!) for your group, use the common areas for group meetings and events, etc. One of our past family reunions was a Scottish clan – kaber tossing, haggis and bag pipers!

For those having weddings on the M/S Mount Washington, we are just 300 feet from the boat! Pretty convenient! If your wedding is at Church Landing/Mill Falls in Meredith – we’re just 5 miles away.

The most important thing to remember is to contact us early. We want to give the accommodations that would best suit your needs. Early bird catches the worm, so to speak!

End of the season

Well, this weekend brings a close to the 2007 season – our best ever thanks to all of you!

As a reminder, we will have Cottage 7 open during the remainder of the fall and into the winter. So, if you are a skier/snowboarder, ice fisherman, and/or a winter lover in general – we’ve still got a place for you!  Spend Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanakkah, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day… with us!

Columbus Day Weekend in the Lakes Region of NH

The upcoming Columbus Day weekend looks to be great.  The weather forecast is for sunny and warm – summer like temps!  The leaves are turning and it’s beautiful.  This weekend you will should take in the Sandwich Fair – oxen pulls, pig races, lots of fun and food at this traditional country fair.  It is just about a half hour from here. Right here in Weirs Beach, there are foliage train rides, foliage cruises, hiking and just relaxing – not to mention the beach and if the temperatures are in the 80’s – that’s just where you might want to be! If you are afraid that you can’t get a room up in the mountain area, don’t worry – we’ve still got some cottages left and we’re only 45 minutes from Lincoln and the mountains.  Our views of the lake with the foliage are spectacular!  Come join us – this is where you belong!
