Giving thanks…

It’s the time of year when we all give thanks…well, we would like to give thanks to all our guests that visited with us this year making 2008 our best year ever! We’d like to thank our hard-working staff without whom we would not be able to get everything done!. We’d like to thank our support staff as well – they’re expertise helps keep us on track.  We thank our family, friends, and above all, we continue to be grateful that we are able to live and work in the most beautiful area around – the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.  Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s Twig Season!

“Twig” Season is always an odd time of year up here in the Lakes Region in NH. It’s the time of year when all the leave have fallen off the trees – hence all we have is “twigs.” It’s also a neat time of the year too because now as I walk or drive along the roads that I normally travel on, I see homes and views that you just don’t know exist when there’s foliage on the trees! It’s always a treat to come upon a house that you’ve never noticed before or a view of the Lake Winnipesaukee or Gunstock and Belknap Mountains that can take your breath away that is obscured by leaves half of the year but is now in full view!

Looking ahead

Fall Foliage is over and so is election season – whew!…now is the time to look ahead to the holidays and the New Year.
